Doing alright...

The procedure was quick and painless...the recovery...not so much. I went in for the procedure at 9:30 and all went great. Nothing was found...THANK YOU LORD. He did take a biopsy of something to check for possible colitis. I was so out of it that I'm not exactly sure all the details. I'm sure he (the dr.) will call in a day or two and go over it all with me again. He did put me on a couple of medications to see if they help with the symptoms I'm having. If they don't then he wants me to come in for an endoscopy (down my throat) so he can look at the small intestines. Let's just pray that the meds work. I don't want to have to go through ANY of that again, at least for a few years. I'm feeling ok today, still weak and a little nauseated. Nothing like yesterday though. Danielle and anesthesia DO NOT mix well. Brad did a great job taking care of me after my mom left. He was right there with whatever I needed. The girls were also so sweet. Macy was a little scared seeing me laying in the bed with a rag on my head, the occasionally vomiting (sorry for the details), and moaning from nausea but she came in a laid by my and patted my arm. Madeline took over the shift when she got home from church. Let's just say I am SO relieved and PRAISE GOD that nothing was found. I have peace of mind and hope that the meds make me feel like a whole new person. Thank you for all of you who prayed, called, emailed, and cared. It means a lot to have family and friends like you. I'm off to lay back down. Love you all.

Asking for prayers.....

Ok guys...I'm officially beginning the "Prep work" for my procedure (colonoscopy) tomorrow. It's only liquids for me today...UGH!! I've got lots of popsicles, juices, sprite, jello, and broth...YUM! (not really) Tonight is the worst I hear having to drink the "magic potion". Wish me luck because if you know me I am not good at drinking anything that has a bad taste. My procedure begins tomorrow at 9:30 but I have to be there at 8:30 for prep. Please say a prayer that all results come out good and that the doctor finds what is possibly causing me all the stomach discomfort. I don't know why but I am REALLY nervous about this test, not so much the test itself but what the results could be. Maybe I'm just psyching myself out and making it more than it is. Please pray for my nerves as well. My wonderful mother is coming down to help with the girls and me. Thanks mom! I will update tomorrow (if I'm feeling good). Thanks to all of you for praying. Love you all...

She'a a fish.

Our neighbors are out of town for the holiday weekend and so we have been keeping their swimming pool company. Macy LOVES the water. I got her a new swim vest this summer and today was the first time that she actually swam around on her own. She swam all over the pool until we made her get out to rest. She would get the boogie board push it off and then go swim after it. She did this over and over again. Here is some video of her. I think she's doing pretty good and it's the cutest thing watching those little legs of hers kick a hundred times a minute.
Pretty cute huh? Not to leave out Madeline. I FINALLY convinced her that she can swim without any kind of floatie/arm floats/etc. She listened and here she is.

We've gotten past the hurdle of having the floats for security now we can work on the swimming. We had a great time as a family laying and playing in the pool. I hope you all are enjoying your holiday weekend. Take care.

The Newest Mueller "Graduate"

She did it! She graduated from Preschool. She is now officially going to be a Kindergartner and she couldn't be more excited. Tuesday was the graduation and it was so cute. They all wore their caps, which Madeline did not want to wear because she said it was an ugly hat. Sorry sweetie but there is nothing fashionable about graduation caps. They sang two precious songs and each one had their name called and told what they wanted to be. Any guesses on what Madeline said? Princess? Gymnast? Doctor? No, to all of the above. She wants to be a teacher to 4 and 5 year olds. Wonder where she got that one? HA!! It will probably change again before next week. She had a great day. My mother in law and sister in law came down to share this special day with us and my sweet cousin, Karen came too. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the video off my video camera and on here. I'll keep working on it. Enjoy a few more pictures from her day.

Proud Mom and Dad.

Madeline with her WONDERFUL teachers. Ms. Terri and Ms. Rita.

Is it summer????

Ok, you know it's going to be a HOT day when you go outside at 9;00 AM and you are already sweating. UGH! Summer is fast approaching. The girls and I have been going non stop today. Our morning started with the girls BOTH having there well child checks. Macy went first. She has gained A LITTLE weight but at this point ANY weight gain is good. She's at a WHOOPING 24 pounds (25%) (Madeline was 28 at two) and she was 34 inches tall (50%). She checked out great and the doctor was shocked to hear how much she is talking. She got one shot and didn't even cry, Madeline was shocked by this. She even told Macy, "You are brave Macy, sissy always cries when I get a shot." The doctor is holding off for now on having the sweat test to check for Cystic Fibrosis on Macy because she is gaining some weight and she hasn't had any extended bouts of diarrhea. Thank GOD. We are going to continue with her on whole milk and the pediasure on the days when she doesn't get a lot of calorie intake. She is probably just going to be my petite one. Now it was Madeline's turn. She weighed in at 42 pounds (50%) and was 45.5 inches tall (95%). She's going to be my tall, skinny one. She also passed her hearing and her eye test so when she tells me she didn't hear me tell her to clean her room, she's lying..HA! Both girls are growing up too fast. Madeline has her preschool graduation tomorrow morning so there will definitely be a post within the next few days about her big day. Thursday is the girls last day of school. I don't know who is more upset me or them. I will have them EVERYDAY for THREE FULL MONTHS...HA!! We have a busy summer planned so I bet the time will fly by. That's about all that is going on for now with us. Oh, several have emailed and asked how my friends in Oklahoma baby is doing. He's doing good. The past week he has shown GREAT improvement. He has been off the ventilator for a week, he is able to eat with a bottle and even nurse some, they are getting to love and cuddle on him and do "baby things" with him. He still has a long road to full recovery but GOD IS SO GOOD. There have been many prayers answered for sweet Brayden. If you click on the link under my friends section that says Kositzky family you can see their family blog with pictures and updates. Thank you to all of you who have been praying for them. I know they appreciate every prayer lifted on their behalf. I'll leave you with a few cute pictures from this weekend. Enjoy... Macy loving her new jewelry she got for her birthday. Macy says, "I pay dame on puter?" Madeline with her curly hair.

Continued...this may be long.

We're back. Actually we've been back since Tuesday around noon, it's just taken me till today to get my house and everything back in some kind of order. We all had a great time in Oklahoma City. We spent Friday evening at Brad's parents house playing with my sweet nephew, Austen and seeing my sis in law, Katie(Brad's brother was working an event downtown and couldn't come)

Isn't he the cutest.
On Saturday we got to spend lots of time playing with Aunt Mich and Uncle Brad. Poor Uncle Brad gets his workout when he's around the girls. They run him non stop but he's a great sport about it and great with them. He's come A LONG way since they were little and he would barely touch them.

We also had Macy's birthday party on Saturday. She had a lot of fun opening presents and playing with them all. Here's a taste of what she got.

The infamous pink ball.

It's Hokey Pokey Elmo.

The American Girl doll trunk full of stuff for her Bitty Baby.

Yes that is a kitty PIANO and it makes LOTS of noise.

She's posing with her new "Cinderyelya" pajamas. She has worn them everyday but ONE since last Sat. and every morning I have to bribe her to take them off.
These were just a few of the many presents she received. Thank you to all of you for making her day so special.

Blowing out the candles. She had a GREAT day.
We then spent Sunday and Monday with my family. We had Mother's Day dinner with my parents and brothers. I was able to spend some quality time with both of my brothers. We had a great time sitting, talking, and reminiscing. It was great to spend that kind of time with them. Since I've moved to Texas we really haven't spent much time together so it's great to spend time with them when I can.
Monday the girls and I spent the afternoon with one of my precious friends, Shawna and two of her three children, Nate (5) and Hannah Joy(15 months). For those of you who don't know, Shawna was pregnant with her first child in Brad and my wedding. Her husband Lance is who married us. We lost touch with them for several years and thank the Lord we are building that friendship again. We had a picnic at the park and then let the kids play while we got to visit. Thank you Shawna for making the time to meet with us and spending time with us. We really enjoyed it.

Shawna and I (taken by Nate)
Monday evening we went to dinner with my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Kristie and her hubby, Mike. She is pregnant with her first child and I couldn't wait to see her pregnant. Here we are then....

Back in High school
And Now.....

We haven't changed a bit...HA!! Remember she is 30 weeks preggo...She looks AWESOME huh?
It's always so much fun to go to Oklahoma and see everyone. Here are some fun pictures I took of Madeline in the weeping willow tree at my in laws.

Next week is a busy week. Monday I have yet ANOTHER doctors appointment, Madeline's preschool graduation is on Tuesday at 9:30, Thursday I'm running a few errands for the girls teachers for their end of the year parties, and Friday the girls are gettign there pictures taken again. We have a busy next couple of weeks. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. God Bless.

Time flies and now she's TWO!

Today was another one of those days when I wake up and think, "Is my BABY really TWO?" These past two years have flown and I've watched my fussy (but wonderful) little baby girl grow into a drama filled, stubborn, hilarious, full of energy, etc. two year old. I can remember the day she was born and the doctor saying she has lots of DARK hair and then out she came and they handed her to me and I thought..."Uh, are you sure this one is mine?" Macy came out with lots of DARK hair and DARK skin. She and Madeline looked NOTHING alike. It's funny how two children can come from the same "gene pool" and be SO DIFFERENT in every way. That's what makes her, well her. Macy has been such a delight to us all and I love to watch the interactions between her and Madeline. I can't wait to see what their "sister" relationship will evolve into someday. We love her even though at times I think I'm going to pull ALL my hair out. Happy Birthday Sweet Macy!!
Here's a walk down memory lane.....

Macy was born May 9, 2006 at 3:32 AM.

Macy at her first birthday..enjoying her cake.
More to come once we return from OKC this weekend. Have a great weekend everyone...

It's a Rainy day here...

What better thing to do on a rainy day then blog. It has been raining off and on here all day. We need the rain so I'm not complaining too much. However, the girls want to go out and play and well it's just TOO WET. I'm getting my carpets cleaned tomorrow (I'm so excited) so I've been cleaning the house and trying to clean them myself a little bit so when the people come tomorrow they don't tell me, "There's no hope for these carpets, dear." In between cleaning rooms I came into the living room to check on Macy and this is how I found her.

She put this ensemble on all by herself...When I saw her she said, "Mommy, I cool."
She makes me laugh.
The later part of my day was spent at a doctors appointment. I went back to the dreaded GI doctor. Most of you know but I have a really bad stomach (thanks mom, just kidding) but it has been terribly worse the past 6 months or so. I won't go into too much detail (you can thank me later) but I didn't want to keep putting it off either, so, I went. After talking with Dr. Murray we have decided to do the lovely colonoscopy. Mainly the reason being, my grandmother had colon cancer, my mother had pre cancerous polyps in her early 40's so we are going to give my colon a looking at just to make sure that there is nothing going on in there that shouldn't be. I'm a little nervous, I must admit about having this test done. The procedure will be done on May 28th. Please keep me in your prayers until then.
I also went to the doctor yesterday about my back and we are going to continue on the same plan that I have been following over the past 3 weeks. It seems to be helping some, so we'll see. She wants to hold off on doing another MRI until I'm showing no improvement. So I can thank God for the relief he has given me this far and I can only hope and pray that it continues. From reading this blog you would think I'm some 80 year old women...HA!
I have to do a little bragging now. Most of you also know that I'm not so much of a gardner. I try REALLY hard every year to have a beautiful flowerbed and well it just doesn't happen. Everything dies. Well I redid my entire flowerbeds this spring and let's just say I AM PROUD. Everything is still alive and growing great. See.....

This is one side of the flower bed...Looking good. (the other side picture turned out blurry but it's looking good too)
And now I leave you with a picture of my beautiful girls before bed last night. They were having sister "cuddle time" I love these two...

Have a great end of the week...Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Love you all!!

She's A, ok...

I took Macy to the dentist this morning to have her chipped tooth looked at. The dentist said it looked good. They took an x-ray to see if it was pushing the permanent tooth and it was but not a lot. She said the chip was clean but that a filling wouldn't stick to it because it didn't go through any of the blood vessels and the nerves looked great. She said the tooth itself would extract back down some in the next 2 - 3 weeks. She wants us to come back in July and she will take another x-ray to see how it looks at that point and will file the tooth down some. Worse case scenario is that the tooth could become infected and then they'd have to pull it. She also said we may notice a little discoloration on the tooth and there is a chance that her permanent tooth would have some discoloration on it as well. We'll just have to wait and see but from what she is seeing it looks like it will be just fine. Macy was such a big girl. She let the dentist pull around on her lip and look all over her mouth and didn't even flinch when they took the x-rays. Way to go, Macy!!
In other news, Madeline's gymnastics coach is moving her up to the next level. She is really doing well at gymnastics. She will now be in the Girls Level 1 class. She is SO excited. She will now be doing a bit more challenging stuff like the big uneven bars (not the toddler size), the REAL beam, floor, etc. She can't wait. She just started gymnastics in September and has already moved up TWO levels. Yes, I am bragging a bit but hey, she is MY daughter and I'm super proud of her. She has also informed us that she wants to play t-ball. So I guess we are going to look into T-ball in the fall. This should be fun. I began playing when I was about her age and LOVED it. Hopefully she will too...Secretly, I think she just wants the uniform, and ribbons in her hair. Can't blame a girl huh?
Let's see what else, we are planning a trip to Oklahoma next weekend for Macy's SECOND birthday and mother's day. I can't wait to see my nephew whom I haven't seen in over 2 months and even then I saw him for just a bit. (and the rest of you wonderful inlaws and my family too.) The girls and I may spend an extra day or two. There are a few friends I'd like to try to see while I'm there too. We have to be back by Wed. May 14th because that is Brad and Madeline's "annual" daddy/daughter date to the Texas Rangers game. Madeline goes for all the yummy food (well Brad too for that matter) and to get a surprise. I'll have to send him with the camera so he can get some pictures. I'll be home unpacking, cleaning, doing laundry, and spending some one on one time with little Miss Disaster (Macy).
Speaking of disaster, well not a disaster, but Miss Macy has been getting in trouble at school. Really? She's only TWO (well almost) you say? Apparently she is testing the limits with her teachers. If they ask her to do something or not to do something she laughs and shakes her head No. What am I going to do with her? Already getting the notes from the teacher at TWO. I think it's just those TERRIBLE TWOS starting...UGH!!
I need to get back to my housework and laundry. I need to make the cookies and brownies for tonight. We are cooking out, playing mexican train, and hanging with the DeCordova (Neighbors) tonight. Taking advantage of this beautiful weather we are having.

I wanted to share this HIL-AR-IOUS picture of Macy while she is napping. For all you moms that don't put ANYTHING in your child's bed, pretend like you don't see the MANY things in Macy's. Isn't that too funny? (Please ignore the SUPER WET diaper too)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
